Lessons from Building Businesses Across the Globe

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of establishing and managing businesses across multiple regions, including the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and the USA. From manufacturing polyethylene bags to running financial institutions in London, each venture has taught me valuable lessons about scaling operations, navigating diverse markets, and managing risk effectively.

In manufacturing and packaging, I developed global operations that served clients in multiple continents, ensuring that production, quality, and delivery met international standards. This experience gave me insights into identifying new opportunities for expansion, responding to market trends, and understanding the unique challenges of operating in different cultural and regulatory environments.

In the financial sector, I focused on strategic investments, cost-benefit analysis, and operational optimization through FCA-regulated institutions. Applying these principles across different markets reinforced the importance of adaptability, deep industry knowledge, and hands-on leadership when growing businesses internationally.

Managing companies in such varied regions has not only been about achieving business goals but also about building teams that can perform at high levels under diverse circumstances. This global experience has shaped my approach to leadership, helping me guide organizations toward sustainable growth while respecting local markets and fostering innovation.

These experiences continue to shape the way I approach leadership, strategy, and growth across all the ventures I am involved in.
